Il Summer Live Tones 2021, dedicato a Mario Guidi, anche quest’estate non poteva mancare. Il 15 settembre occuperà la zona del Maschio Angioino, concessa dall’assessorato alla cultura turismo, facendo risuonare il cortile di note jazz con il piano solo di Giovanni Guidi nella sua interpretazione di “Angeli e Demoni”.
Inoltre verrà presentato un solo concerto per questa X edizione a causa delle restrizioni e delle difficoltà sociali ed istituzionali.
Giovanni Guidi è un giovane talento, capace di una grande espressività e tecnica, oltre ad essere visto come un uomo sorprendente, emozionante, ed eclettico, è anche riconosciuto per la sua abilità di definire il suo pianismo in modo limpido e raffinato.
“Ogni tanto il jazz ci regala una splendida sorpresa e Giovanni è la sorpresa più recente. Mi stupisce ogni volta, ha la capacità di viaggiare nel blues in modi del tutto nuovi” E infine aggiunge il supremo Enrico Rava, “ho seguito la crescita musicale di Giovanni, ho potuto constatare l’affinarsi inarrestabile del suo gusto e della sua curiosità senza limiti”
