Portici: gli alunni di due classi del Liceo “Quinto Orazio Flacco”, guidate dalla prof.ssa Rossella Tunzi, docente di latino e greco, e incoraggiati dalla DS, prof.ssa Iolanda Giovidelli, hanno realizzato un progetto molto particolare, intitolato “Gli eroi sono quelli che…’ che racconta le storie invisibili di tutti coloro che, nel corso della pandemia, non hanno ceduto al disagio e alla sofferenza, ma hanno continuato a lottare.
‘Alla chiusura delle scuole, nel marzo 2020, c’è stata l’urgenza di farsi accanto agli alunni, come “scudi di quiete nella tempesta che infuria”: queste le parole della docente per illustrare le motivazioni alla base del progetto. Ispirata ai valori del mondo classico, l’attività propone una modalità sperimentale che consiste nel tenere conto degli stati d’animo degli alunni, declinando le loro passioni e interessi senza però rinunciare alla loro formazione scolastica. Tenendo fede a queste prerogative, gli alunni del liceo “Quinto Orazio Flacco” di Portici hanno realizzato un video e un sito web dedicati al tema dell’eroe e all’importanza che questa figura riveste nell’era moderna.
‘Dopo un momento iniziale in cui ho provato a trasferire nelle classi virtuali la didattica tradizionale, mi sono resa conto che la cosa non funzionava. Era urgente esprimere le emozioni e condividerle. Ho trovato un terreno fertile negli alunni delle mie due classi. Accantonate lezioni e verifiche canoniche, abbiamo intrapreso un viaggio che ci ha avvicinato e ci ha emozionato’, ha dichiarato la docente.
Ha così preso vita un percorso del tutto nuovo per 39 ragazzi, alla scoperta della propria identità come cittadini del mondo orientati al sostegno dell’altro. Il loro lavoro si inserisce come trattazione consapevole delle difficoltà vissute nell’ultimo anno. Nel prodotto finale, testi inediti, nati da un brainstorming (Sono Un Uomo) o da una riflessione corale (Oltre l’orizzonte); arrangiamenti musicali realizzati ed eseguiti dai ragazzi con i loro strumenti, una musica originale e inedita, un’intervista esclusiva al dottor Francesco Menchise, l’anestesista di Ravenna divenuto simbolo di tutti gli ‘eroi in prima linea’ nella lotta contro il corona virus.
Gli alunni coinvolti commentano: “Su uno sfondo surreale e preoccupante abbiamo riflettuto, abbiamo riscoperto gli eroi del passato, apprezzato gli eroi che curano, ci siamo messi alla prova, ognuno seguendo le proprie inclinazioni e ottimizzando le proprie competenze, abbiamo costruito, messo a punto, rivisto, ricominciato”- E concludono affermando di aver imparato “ad avere la forza di dimostrare la nostra fragilità, senza temere il giudizio altrui, di prendere atto del fatto che il mondo intorno a noi è cambiato, ma noi, insieme, ci siamo riusciti, abbiamo portato con forza e dedizione avanti il nostro progetto, tra passato e presente”.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
