Nelle sale, il ritorno di Crudelia de Mon

Ritorna in scena la malvagia Crudelia de Mon ma in spoglie completamente diverse: Estella, una giovane orfana.  

Diffuso in tutti i cinema e pubblicato sulla piattaforma streaming della Disney, Crudelia è senza ombra di dubbio il film che in questi ultimi mesi ha riscontrato più successo, sia tra il pubblico adulto sia tra quello giovanile. L’opera cinematografica è ispirata al romanzo della scrittrice inglese Dodie Smith “La carica dei 101”, pubblicato nel 1956, e allo stesso film Disney uscito nel 1961. 

La protagonista del film- interpretata dall’attrice statunitense Emma Stone- è Estella Miller, una ragazzina rimasta orfana quando era ancora una bambina e soprannominata da tutti ‘‘Cruella’’ per via dei suoi capelli metà bianchi e metà neri. Mossa da idee rivoluzionarie e determinata nel raggiungere i suoi obiettivi, Estella comincia a commettere piccoli furti per guadagnarsi da vivere e allo stesso tempo a coltivare quella passione per la moda che la accompagna sin da piccola. Ed è in questo contesto che la ragazzina entrerà in contatto con la baronessa von Hellman, artefice dell’omicidio di sua madre. Da questo momento in poi si assisterà ad un’evoluzione del personaggio che si concluderà con una vera e propria spaccatura: da una parte Estella, una ragazzina rimasta orfana che rubacchia qua e là per sopravvivere e crede nei propri sogni, dall’altra Cruella, una ragazzina spietata che sarebbe capace di compiere qualsiasi cosa pur di realizzare sé stessa e di raggiungere i propri scopi. A fare la differenza nel film, però, sono le melodie che non solo sottolineano l’evoluzione della protagonista, ma anche un altro aspetto fondamentale: la trasformazione del look. La storia è ambientata a Londra negli anni “70 nel periodo del punk rock e Cruella sembra rispecchiare perfettamente la tipica ragazza mossa da grandi ideali e pronta a realizzare i suoi sogni.
