Ddl Zan affossato: si scatenano le polemiche
Nella giornata del 27 ottobre 2021, il disegno di legge Zan contro l’omotransfobia, che prende il nome dal suo stesso creatore, il deputato del PD Alessandro Zan, è stato affossato in Senato. I senatori hanno infatti votato, con scrutinio segreto, 154 sì per la “tagliola”, procedura prevista dall’articolo 96 del regolamento e avanzata dai due partiti Lega e Fratelli d’Italia, che recita: “Prima che abbia inizio l’esame degli articoli di un disegno di legge, un senatore per ciascun gruppo può avanzare la proposta che non si passi a tale esame“. Dunque il disegno di legge non verrà analizzato nei singoli articoli, e si dovranno aspettare 6 mesi prima che venga ripresentato in Parlamento per ricominciare l’iter da zero.
Si è discusso molto, soprattutto sui social, sul provvedimento, ma ancor di più sulla reazione dei senatori. Tantissimi sono stati i personaggi pubblici che si sono espressi sulla questione, tra cui la senatrice del Pd, Simona Malpezzi: “L’applauso di una parte del Senato conferma che la destra non ha mai voluto approvare una legge contro i crimini di odio e le discriminazioni. Oggi è una giornata triste. Ma quello che più colpisce è che chi diceva di voler discutere di diritti ha oggi imposto il voto segreto, decidendo di affossare una legge che tutelava i diritti delle persone”. In particolar modo poi si è aperta da poco una polemica che vede protagonista Matteo Renzi, segretario di Italia Viva, che ha scaricato le responsabilità proprio sul Pd: “Per mesi ho chiesto di trovare un accordo per evitare di far fallire il ddl Zan. Hanno voluto lo scontro e queste sono le conseguenze”. Non ha tardato ad arrivare la risposta di Fedez su twitter: “Ma il Renzi che si proclamava paladino dei diritti civili è lo stesso che oggi pare sia volato in Arabia Saudita mentre si affossava il DDL Zan?

Matteo Salvini, invece, si rivolge ad Enrico Letta, segretario del Pd: “Letta, mi ascolti: la Lega è pronta dalla settimana prossima a discutere in commissione un disegno di legge che aumenti le pene per chi discrimina o aggredisce in base all’orientamento sessuale”. A rispondergli, però, è proprio Alessandro Zan, con queste parole: “Ma con quale dignità, Salvini, dopo aver fermato la speranza di un Paese più civile e esultato come un ultras in curva, ora chiedi a Letta di trattare?”. Salvini risponde: “Punire i violenti e i deficienti è una nostra priorità, ma il Ddl Zan era sbagliato. Sono state punite le arroganze di Letta e di Di Maio.”.
