Presentato al Salone del libro di Portici, il lavoro teatrale “Il fiore di Leniò”, rappresentato dagli studenti della classe VA Classico del Flacco, nella Sala delle locomotive diesel del Museo di Pietrarsa.
La piéce, nata da un’idea delle prof. M. Raiola e M. Alini in occasione della XI edizione della Giornata Mondiale della Lingua Greca, celebrata il 9 Febbraio scorso al Maschio Angioino, ha ricostruito liberamente la genesi della monumentale “Odissea” di Nikos Kazantzakis, creatore dell’indimenticato “Zorba il greco” e intellettuale tra i più eclettici e influenti del 900, che nel suo poema ha operato una portentosa sintesi delle dottrine politiche e filosofiche del secolo breve.
La rappresentazione, che prende l’avvio dalla cerimonia di consegna, al poeta, del premio internazionale per la Pace, che gli fu effettivamente assegnato nel 1956, ha coinvolto con momenti di grande impatto emotivo: la spedizione squadrista, il sogno di guerra del poeta cretese e l’apparizione finale di Elena, ammantata delle lettere dell’alfabeto greco, metafora della bellezza di una lingua capace di arrivare al cuore dei significati.
